Cargo net for trunk?

Hi folks, new member and I just bought my first Mercedes, a 2012 E550. Is there a good cargo net available for the trunk? One that does not lay on the floor but more sections off the trunk to keep grocery bags from sliding around.

Here's the trunk. It would be nice to have a vertical net that kept grocery bags from sliding deeper towards the front of the car.

Buy the comfort box. I have it and it’s a great option. You can pick one up for not a lot of money.

I agree . I also have one, but I also have a cargo net that goes from left side to right side.

Looking at your picture you have the secret weapon in your trunk, the grocery bag hook. It is that white tab hanging down in the middle of the top of the trunk opening. Pull that tab down and you have a double hook that easily holds 5 bags on each hook. Far better than the net or the comfort box.

You can put milk jugs, juice, etc in the comfort box and they don’t fly around. Not sure about the hang hook approach. But Now you don’t have to get anything because those 2 hooks can do it all.

No AMG unfortunately, and we'll just leave it as that

The cheapest way is to buy some long adjustable bungee cords and use the four tie-down D-rings in the trunk. Otherwise, find a flat-bottom basket or crate, and use that to hold the grocery bags. I have the convenience box; while nice, it can’t hold much weight (thinking of a bunch of glass bottles, or watermelon), and it robs trunk space (can’t fit luggage vertically with the reduced headroom). It is easy to remove for such usage, but you need to proactively remove it and store it at home (it’s quite bulky).

It is so funny in the grocery stores they ask if I want to bag my milk. Of course I do and the reason is to be able to hang it on the hook. Done it hundreds of times. There is no better organizer than this magic hook is. Comfort box is a joke compared to it not to mention the cargo net that is the most impractical for keeping bags in place. Cargo net would work on the opening side wall but the wall is way too shallow for that.
