its been a while since i've been on here but today i was about to go grocery shopping and I got the LOW COOLANT MESSAGE. I went to go check it out its pretty low decided not to drive anywhere.
I know i should get the MB fluid 325.3 but no dealership is open.... any one know of a place to get the proper coolant on a Sunday.

Top it up with distilled water. Based on your description of the current level it will not dilute your coolant to any significant degree. This is a much safer solution than adding an unknown liquid into the coolant system. However, this is a temporary fix and you need to find the source of the loss of coolant.
So this morning the car wouldn’t start... I added the fluid I posted and it started right up. I figure it will be okay, I might drain it out but I’ll see what MB Canada says about it.

I didn’t have distilled water I was going to pick it up but the car wouldn’t start lol. I picked up a 5L jug of coolant from the dealer today for 30$ so this will never happen again.
The coolant system is a closed loop system. If your coolant is low, that means its leaking out somewhere or your system is not holding pressure and its being pushed back in the overflow tank once its up to temp and spills out.
I would have it check out.

I've read about that, I checked this morning and tonight zero leaks its still at the level i topped it up at. The temp has gone from plus to minus numbers time. I've read that could be part of the issue. I don't know what to make of it... I'm going to monitor it for a few weeks.

Brought it in to a dealership and the issue was the gasket, and it was leaking.
I think it was the gasket around water pump area.
Check your ground under the engine bay to see if it is leaking if you park your car at a same spot everyday.
So for me, the dealership replaced the gasket under the warranty and at the same time I also asked them to replace the thermostat for peace of my mind, and they also did replace the thermostat as well under the warranty.
I would check and monitor your coolant level and see if it's leaking somewhere.

Yes and no. For me, I was always in that line of thought, but these MB cars just consume a little coolant over time. I don't understand it or like it, but if you don't top off the coolant at the service, before it makes it the next 10k miles, it will be low enough to trigger the warning. I've never seen other cars do this, but all the benz engines do it. Considered normal.

I have seen a number of the 276 engines leak at the coolant housing on the front of the engine, and often it's started to erode into the surface of the water pump. Low mile cars with factory coolant. Some cases I have to replace the water pump due to the pitting in the gasket surface the coolant housing attaches to, as it's a small o-ring type seal, so if it's not going against flat, smooth metal, it will leak.
Not an issue with most modern coolants, but yes, when in doubt, just add water. It's safer than mixing the wrong coolant in.
Agreed but I learned the hard way with my Audi. Added "so called" compatible Prestone over time it turned my nice pink coolant to having a muddy sludge forming.
ya I'm sure ill be fine as long as it has Mercedes 325 on the bottle its good to go.
even though it says MB 325.20 I was told its the same thing, just a different brand.
I might change it all out but for now its been 4 days and the levels still the same. I'll probably monitor it daily for a month and see what happens.
Next weekend is spark plug Saturday, transmission service, and brake fluid change super excited to DIY all these.
