So, been thinking about getting a new scanner. last one I had was Jaguar specific .. so wanted a multi marque one.
after reading and searching plenty of people like this Autel one, so I tried to see what it might do or my two Mercedes. A 2002 SLK 230 and 2003 CLK 320
Anyway I found this download showing exactly what it will, and will not do, so I thought I'd share it with everyone ...

Useless for your sixteen year old bucket------you need DAS that is if you want to diagnose all the modules!!

my 16 year old bucket as you so thoughtfully call it is a great machine and I would not change it for anything else.
