Edition 1 C63S Pricing
Does kelly blue book take into account edition 1 limited edition packages? I feel like if the selling price of the 2015 34K miles is low. It shows somewhere around $52K range.
I have the manufactures invoice I requested from Mercedes headquarters and list the car msrp @ $86k and that is not even the markup price. Rep told me dealers usually add 10-15k more above that price in different locations making the actual price anywhere from $96-100k+. I think kelly blue book is not taking into account the extras in the Edition 1 which is like $13k more.

For any of you actually wanting to know all the features in a edition 1 package with the codes and costs, I attached the PDF.

It's weird, Mercedes calls it C63P not C63s

Edition 1 packages actually do not add much value to the car. With the exception of the performance seats, it’s entirely a cosmetic customization package filled mostly with decals that costs thousands of dollars. And as a general rule of thumb, cosmetic options hold the least resale value.
Dont fall for the “limited edition” marketing story pushed by the sales people. They were made to stock (not order), and I know my local dealer struggled to sell theirs since the sedans were often missing desirable utility options.

I would hang on to your car. Heck remember the old saying that if you buy a new corvette and drive it around the block, and sell it back to the dealer, it cost you $20,000. It applies here too, except our cars are three years old. Finally, AMGs do NOT hold their value unless a dealer has a used one, lol.

yea sometimes packages dont help a ton unless it was something highly sought after.. the C63 coupe edition1 in yellow was amazing but for a select crowd.. edition1 E63 was def a head turner and may bring some value..
Thats why Mercedes made a c63 "S", since people werent getting value on trades for the " AMG development package" of the previous gen C63's

Hell, they only making like 3000 Demons for sale.
I don't know the numbers for 2016, 2017, 2018 Edition 1, but if the numbers are that low for production, that's even better than a ferrari or lambo special edition... Hopefully the cars value will increase or hold over time, only downfall is the mileage will kill the vale in 10,15,20 years. Remember as these cars crash and get totaled, there will be only a handful of Edition 1 lefts making them rare...

Yeah I know what you mean. I actually talk to the rep at HQ of Benz and they mentioned the 2015 Edition 1 c63s only made 380 units sold world wide. USA is about 50% of the market. That puts it at approximately 190 Edition 1 vehicles only made in 2015 for USA ... To me that's very rare for a car.
