dealership called me in to get an update for the 9G Tronic. But I heard this makes the car slower... is this true? Anybody? Really quick help would be appreciated!!

No, this is not true. The update makes the car much smoother and gets rid of the bunny hop in 1st gear when in Sport plus mode. Does not make the car slower.
