I took out the air suspension and replaced it with BC coil overs. I do not like how low the rear sits and it is adjusted as high as they will go. Arnott makes a rear spring conversion kit which they say is for E320, E350, E500 wagons with air suspension. Can any one tell me if the rear end of a wagon is the same set up as a sedan? I am willing to bet Arnott says their springs only fit wagons because they want you to buy the whole 4 wheel kit from them for sedans. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Found out months after installation that the guides on here omit one important part: those kits are design to use MB factory shimmable perch inserts.
EPC is showing 5, 13, 17, & 21mm. For something like the E350. All of those are the same basic part, but with different number of shims: 1, 2, 3 and 4 respectively.
So order a pair of the 21mm ones, if that's too tall, you can adjust the springs or take some shims out.
ALSO: check out my thread for the quickest procedure to do this, essentially either "rent" the coil spring compressor from AutoZone (for free) or purchase that tool for $50-80 depending on design and manufacturer.
All it takes is compressing from within through the control arm, make the adjustments you need and release the compressor. 30min per side if you take your time.
Caveat here is aligning the compressor correctly so the spring is aimed at the perch when releasing.
I believe the part number is 2113250584, but double check me on that. See photo.

Also, to clear things up about the MB isolators, you should only need to use the top rubber piece in that picture. The other plastic shims shouldn't be necessary, and the bottom plastic piece just plain won't work with the BC Racing hats.

The top piece is just a rubber isolator to keep the had from squeaking on the body. Everything else gets tossed in the trash and won't work with the BC Racing hats.

The hats are as far out as I can go feeling safe (few threads inside) and it sits to low, but there are no isolators on the car. When I took off the air bags, there was nothing there and BC racing of course didn't come with instructions. I guess I just need the large rubber piece in the picture. That would make a world of difference. I had AllData but it expired, if anyone else can tell me the part number I would really appreciate it. thanks.
You would just insert those shims underneath rubber one. I am still amazed your car is too low. Pics with wheel off and fender liner off would really help us
Oh bro, I don't want to take the wheels and liners off again until I have to, but I am telling you, it's sitting low, and I remember when I installed the coils I sat there banging my head thinking this can't be right be right, why is it so low. It looks just like the last pic you sent out with the hats at the top, only difference is I have no isolators.
Gentleman, ECS tuning advises there are 2 different types of shims, one for the top of the coil and one for the bottom. Do I need both, or it one of the other preferred. Thank you.

I did not use the bottom piece (2113210084). The coil spring has a rubber sleeve on the end and just sits in the lower control arm with no squeaking. All of the adjustability is at the top.

How looks with the bolts and nuts? Are they reusable from the airmatic control arms for the front and rear? I'm asking, because I ordered the K-Sport Street Coilovers which are the same like the BCs.
The parts (A2113250384) I ordered today for the rear, so it would be easy to install the rear spring. And as you told, with the K-Sport or BCs, there is a little bit different as with the KW, because you only need the top rubber:
