Radio Station Changes By Itself
Hi Guys
I've noticed when I make sharp turns the radio station or cd playing will skip to next station or song by itself.
Has anyone else experienced this.

Any chance you are inadvertently touching the touchpad on the center console? That happens to me too and it’s always the charging cable rubbing against the touchpad.

l'll have to keep an eye out for the charging cable rubbing on the touchpad as I do notice it gets tangled around the touchpad.
Hopefully that's all it is
Thanks Radman

Radio and Media changes station or track by itself
i have the same problem. I noticed that the media doesn’t matter. It can be radio, CD, USB, or SD. If you are having this problem, they will all change by themselves. For me, it happens on hard braking or hard acceleration. Let’s figure this out. It’s very annoying.

I have noticed that too in my car .I turned off Traffic Announcements in the Media or Radio sub menu ,it never happened since then .By fluke or not I'm glad I got this sorted out as changing radio station by the car itself wasn't good

You do realize that you paid extra for the “automatic media change on sharp turns and stops” option?

Will turn off traffic announcements today
Being in an S class that changes songs by itself is like being at a very expensive party/nightclub with a DJ that has the worst song transitions in history

Traffic announcements are already off

Solved. Remote control was changing station
One of the remote controls for the rear entertainment system was stored in the rear armrest with other items. During hard braking or acceleration, the other items in the armrest would rub against the remote. This would turn the circular dial on the remote control and change the station or song/track. I took the remote out of the armrest and now it never happens.

i shut off my touchpad mouse’s functionality. i kept brushing over it with my right hand and it would muck up current settings; it drove me crazy.

My issue is a little different. I have a USB stick with mp3s in one of the ports in the center console compartment and each time I close the console lid, the car's audio switches to the media function and plays the songs on the USB stick.

Check the insertion fit, try a different USB drive or different USB slot? It sounds like closing the console is simulating removal and insertion of the USB stick with music on it, e.g., if the drive is loosely connected.
