Back again! (Yeah I know no one cares. But Vic does)

My W213 Wagon is on a ship to the U.S. but apparently you can no longer find the ship based on the Cargo ID. Anyone find a way around this? Mine is scheduled to hit LA on 9/15.

Nothing right now. 2015 TTS is gone. 2017 X5M just went gone in June. I have two sets of HREs waiting (540s and P103s). Your sedan, like your legs in cutoff jean shorts, looks amazing. I am excited to hear the exhaust on this badboy.

I think the exhaust is probably one of the best parts of the car, aside from the vicious acceleration.

Thanks! And congrats! I almost did the performance seats, but since Im built like a young Dom Deluise, I found them uncomfortable.

No its a generic one on Ebay (you will have to scroll thru the thread) and its around 350-400 bucks... but it does the same thing that Renn or Brab offers.

Your wagon is on all 4 corners via air suspension, no more springs up front like your CLS.

Good cause that CLS road like a rickety ship on these San Diego streets paved with cement made of oatmeal.

Also, is it true what Im reading, that the ECO Start/Stop function is different than BMW where you can just press the button one time and it disables it unless you press it again to re-enable the feature? You have to disable it everytime in the Mercedes you turn the car back on?

Oh no, you better be prepared cause the W213 is a taut mo fo... you will feel the road more than your W218.

You can not permanently turn it off, but one flick of the Individual lever eliminates it at start up. (if your settings dictate that no Eco is to be used)

Lord Jesus for the first part. And the second part for the ECO Start/Stop is no big deal now that I know you can just make individual settings to exclude it like on the BMW with the M1 & M2 options. So it must be a manufacturer choice to make it permanently disable-able (I may have just invented a new word) because unless its changed, BMW lets you decide whether to keep it on or off. I guess Mercedes wanted to be ahead of the curve (because I think Ive read eventually, its going to be mandatory in Cali).

I think a part of that is the economy/emissions side, but I could be wrong. Meaning that if it's a default-enabled feature that can only be disabled by driver choice on each start, the gains it has for fuel economy ratings are more stable and valid across the lineup, and can be included on marketing materials/window stickers. Rather than being an opt-in feature, where the benefits cannot be measured across hundreds of thousands of vehicles.

Ahhhh as I sit here bored and waiting for my Wagon to one day be released from the Long Beach Port to the Long Beach VPC eventually to my dealership with the Long Beach Crips, here are some pics of the one of two sets of HRE Wheels I ordered (20 x 9.5; 20 x 10.5). Yes, I know.....no one cares. And you shouldn't.
