2016 C63s Build
Just placed a deposit on a well optioned blk/blk 2016 c63s with 14k miles last night! Still have to coordinate shipping etc so I will have it in the next few weeks. Going to keep this thread up to date with pics and details along the way while I modify the car to build the perfect combo of daily driver and track monster. Going for the clean/mean look with an emphasis on ultimate performance/handling. However, I am a horsepower junkie so after all the bases are covered I will probably upgrade turbos to try and go deep 10’s high 9’s at the strip if possible. Not sure how that’s going to unfold but we shall see haha. Couple pics of my new beast!!

Can’t seem to get one of the images to appear after upload and the other two that do appear are stuck on the upload screen and I can’t add them to my post only close the window. Help? Lol

I looked at a few Texas cars too, congrats as well! I had to have the performance seats in solid black so it narrowed down my options and this one is in Virginia. I’m already trying to order wheels, intakes and carbon exterior bits so the updates will come soon haha!!

Where you getting your carbon exteriors? Aliexpress/RW/Mode/etc?
I just got some new shoes too.. What wheels you going with?
I haven't looked into intake--what exactly are you upgrading?

Haven’t fully decided on carbon parts, but I was leaning towards RW for quality, styling and pricing.
Nice! New wheels can really change the look of the car a lot!! I’m going to get some forgestars, but haven’t decided on color yet.
There aren’t many open air intake options, however I’m trying to acquire the twin carbon “zac” intakes. People complain about them being “hot air intakes” but any turbo car will benefit from less restriction on the compressor side, plus the hot compressed air will go thru the intercooler before it reaches the manifold and motor anyways.

You are 100% spot on, the intake temps are within 10 degree C at the filters. And the same after the intercoolers actually.

So it looks like I’ll have to email pics to myself and post from my laptop because the forum hates iOS lol.
Found some side splitter carbon replacements for the silver trim at a reasonable price and ordered them. Hopefully they are close enough (or the same) mode sells for 1k cheaper.
Searching through every wheel on planet earth and finally narrowed down my choices to forgestar or bc forged. Have a specific wheel and finish from each picked out so now I just need to decide. Making good progress and the car still won’t be here for about 3 weeks so I should have most of what I need by then lol. I’m getting out of control like usual...

Interested in some rotiform 3 piece wheels? I've got my old wheels for sale I'd give a steal on! Congrats on the purchase dude! Lmk if they spark your interest. Custom built for w205 c63s to run wide tires and clear massive brakes!

Why? I don’t intend on doing a “drag build” since I already have a race car, but I will be hitting the strip to test performance (before/after mods) and possibly break some current records.

Just ordered an Led interior/exterior lighting kit from Michael@AznOptics to get everything looking nice and clean! Also by looking at a pic of the front of my car he was able to let me know I already have the xenon lighting package from the factory so he gave me a list of lights we could still upgrade. He gives forum package pricing so hit him up!
I purchased:
Door puddle lights: 2 sets (sedan) 194 wedge LEDs
Rear signal lights: 1 set 7507 bayonet LEDs
Reverse lights: 1 set 194 wedge LEDs (White, Amber, Red)
Glove box light: 1 unit 194 wedge LED
Trunk lights: 1 set 194 wedge LEDs
Vanity mirror lights: 1 set 194 wedge LEDs

Ok updated first post with pics! As I found by searching the forum, the site hates ios so I had to upload images from my laptop using windows os. Even though its extra work and a bit of a pita, at least I will be able to add images during my build!

I officially own the car and it’s on the way to Cali! It took a few weeks for the owner and myself to link up due to our schedules after placing my deposit, but he came to Cali last weekend so we got together and finalized everything! My car was picked up by the transport company yesterday so it should be here by next Monday/Tuesday! I’ve ordered some more parts over the weekend so they should be trickling in this week as well. Finally got the key!!

Even though I should probably keep them, I will more than likely sell the Oem wheels because I have too many sets in my garage for my mustang already lol. You have first dibs👍🏼

Car showed up early to cali this afternoon!! Once it arrived I washed it, adjusted all the settings to my preferences and found what the ideal position in the performance seat was for me. Took it for a quick drive, warmed it up, got it sideways and did several freeway pulls to get an idea of what im working with lol. Car moves pretty quick and rides really nice/quiet aside from being kinda rattly when going over speed bumps.

Took a few hours yesterday afternoon and installed the H&R lowering springs! The front lower strut bolt is a pain in the d!ck to remove since someone thought it would be a good idea to cover the entire bolt and nut in gooey thread locker of some sort. Figured out that hitting the bolt with pb blast and a wire brush to clean off the glue helped make removing the lower strut bolt on the second front strut A LOT easier. Springs lowered it a good amount where it was pretty visible immediately. After we finished, I took it on a short drive to grab pizza for the Ufc fight and it rides a little stiffer than oem, but really good and not bouncy at all imo.

Did some debadging this morning and figured I'd show how easy the correct tools make it. Took about 5 minutes for each fender including heating, peeling off the emblems, removing the adhesive and cleaning up with a instant detailer. I also removed the trunk star but found out halfway through there are three holes in the trunk lol. At that point there was no turning back so I'll order a new one and have my buddy color match it to the car.
Now I just need to polish the areas where the badges were to get rid of the ghost impressions they leave behind and it will look like they were never there.
