AutoHausAZ Issues has anybody had a problem with them?

I ordered some stuff with AutoHausAZ Thursday night and chose 2 day shipping. The package has still has not been shipped and it is now Monday. I called and wanted to add a part to my order (that has not been shipped yet) and they wanted to charge me $36 to add a 2lb water pump. You would think they would be happy to sell another part (even though they are not the least expensive out there). With all of my years in customer service I have learned that the customer is always right. I will never order from AutoHausAZ again! Has anybody else had issues with them?

Nope, they've always done right by me.
But then again, I always use the economy shipping option.

Funny thing is that the part I wanted was $20 more then the lowest price I found. They were still making money but chose to lose a customer over shipping lol.

I can honestly say, that I've never had a issue with AutoHausAZ, though I will start ordering parts from FCPEuro, as they have a lifetime warranty on all parts sold.

They had M156 lifters for a good price. I ordered them and got a call two days later stating they can no longer source them. I was refunded and it was no big deal. I got an E mail the next day stating they can source lifters from a dealer for $47 a piece. Mercedes Benz of Seattle charges $27 and Bellevue charges $25. I sent an E mail back asking why the massive mark up and received no response.

I've ordered from AutohausAZ for years with no issues. It's one of the only places I order parts from

Not certain why you haven't heard back and I'm very sorry that happened. Last I checked Black Series lifters have limited availability in the country, standard ones are available. I currently sell the standard lifters for ~$23 per and I can verify black series availability if that is your preference. Feel free to PM me if you prefer to take the convo offline.

I've been ordering from Autohaus ever since I lived in Scottsdale (so going on 18 years now). It usually takes them 2-3 days to ship.

I just ordered from FCPEuro and their prices are much better then AutoHausAZ as well. What I am not happy with is their ship time estimate. I ordered yesterday afternoon and paid extra for 3 day shipping. For some reason it says that the items will not be shipped until Thursday? Why does it take 3 days to get an order shipped?

Our verbage must be incorrect on your order confirmation, I took a peak at your order and it's leaving this afternoon.

There's no reason anyone should be using anything other than FCP for their AMG's with the lifetime warranty.

I no longer user anything except them.

Maybe one of your guys was confused, and offering a Black Series lifter. I do not think so because the price still did not jive. I sent an email back stating that high of mark up over dealer MSRP was slightly ridiculous. He never got back with me to clarify anything.

Im not mad about it, but It made a bad impression. I do appreciate you taking the time to respond though.
I sent you a P/M and edited my first post.

FWIW you effectively ordered on Friday. Saturday and Sunday don't count when it comes to shipping. I wouldn't expect the order to ship until Monday at the earliest or possibly Tuesday. Handling time often isn't factored into the 2 day shipping. A lot of places will have 2 day shipping, but that's once it leaves the warehouse.

Honestly, you sound like a pain in the *** customer. I've bought parts from Autohaus and FCP and have no complaints. There have never been delays and FCP even went above and beyond by shipping some parts I needed next day air at no extra cost when they didn't go out on the day they were supposed to.

You need to read the whole post before you call someone a pain in the a**. My gripe is about the $36 that they wanted to charge me to add a 2lb item to a shipment that had not left their warehouse. I have asked them about it and they did not respond. They know that they were wrong. FCP monitors this forum and I have only heard from them on this issue and AutohausAZ has not chimed in? Well.........

How big is that 2lb item in its box? If shipping by UPS Ground the dimensions can make a good difference in what it costs to ship an item. An extra $36 does seem a bit much, but if that part bumped the box over the 84" size limit I could see it adding that much to the cost. At that point most shipping companies charge an oversize or balloon fee and the cost is determined by the dimensions of the box and not the weight. The total package weight could be 10 lbs, but it will be billed at 40 lbs. UPS and the USPS have similar size restrictions, I'm not familiar with FedEx rates or limits.

I've sold 12,000+ things on Ebay and currently work in shipping/receiving for a motorcycle dealership. I've got a lot of experience shipping boxes of stuff.
