Oil consumption
I’ve Had my 2016 for 5 months. I’ve driven 6500KM. Vehicle now has 39700 KM.
Thus far, the instrument cluster has asked my to add 1 liter twice, about 3000km apart, is this normal? I’m bringing it to get verified for a leak anyhow.
Also, I find it difficult to accelerate smoothly, kind of jerks and is not smooth sometimes. It seems fine if I am a bit heavy with the throttle, seems when I really want to drive conservatively this is more apparent.
Any feedback appreciated.

Also have a 2016 with 16k miles, 700 hard miles on LiquiMoly 5w40 and zero oil consumed. Check Oil level everyday.
Also to be on the safe side you might want to have the dealer perform a compression test on each cylinder and confirm that it is within MB's tolerances.

With mild driving for 29,000 miles (81 miles originally) ... it asked for a quart one time

You can try a simple home reset of the adaptations

I own a 2014 E63 S, I check my oil once a week, I'm also constantly filling up quarts here and there, probably 2-3 times per oil change. I thought it was unusual but according to tasos its normal for m157.

Or 1 qt every 780 miles
