Canadian 2019 GLC43 delivery on hold ?
Put an order for a 2019 GLC 43 AMG on 08-08-2018.
Was built in Germany on 09-08-18
Was this side of the pound in Halifax on 09-25-18
Was train delivered to Montreal on 10-22-18
Since then no movement; MB Canada says no ETA for delivery w/o any reason.
As far as I know, no GLC43 were delivered to Canadian buyers as of today, at least in Canada.
Why would that be? MB says niet !
Anybody with "inside"news?
Any recall that we don't know about.
Any 2019 GLC 43 driving their car anywhere ???

It sounds like the same problem i had with my '19 GLC300 Coupe. It is the Canadian Government holding the car and not MB.
The Government hasnt done the full emissions & safety certification on that model yet in order to release it to the public. From what I heard, the AMG's are lower on the list due to less sales volume as compared to standard engine models.
Mine was delivered to Halifax in early August and only got released by the Government at the beginning of September. Pick up was 2 weeks after as it stayed in Halifax until that date due to the volume of cars waiting for release.
Try calling MB Canada and ask them what they know. When I called in mid-August - the Rep. got in touch with the Head of the certification or whatever it was and they told me they were on track to have the GLC300 Coupe/SUV approved by the end of August - and sure enough it was. I didnt care to ask about any other model since that was my car.
