Any one used Schwaben Scan Tool for MB?

Saw a Facebook post for this thing, 230 from pelican parts. In the pelican parts post they claim it can adjust airmatic suspension and custom parameters.

Specifically I'd like to disable rear O2s, disable CD changer, disable EGR, and raise idle RPMs but haven't pulled the trigger on a star set up yet. There is always something else I'd prefer to spend $700 on haha.

Any ways, any one used this thing or another cheaper star alternative that can actually do that stuff?

Thanks. I did see that but unless you know where another list is with what all those "Special Function" codes are it still doesn't help. I did try googling to find out what ever those codes are and got back a gaggle of nonsense for the several I tried.

Is this any good? I was thinking about picking it up rather than shelling out for STAR?

I would personally recommend STAR over this. Seriously, it is worth its weight in gold if you DIY.

After looking into it l, it seems like it would be fine for adding the ability to bleed brakes, but missing most of the functionality of STAR

I know stars better, but i cant justify the cost at the moment. Im using torque app currently so it cant even access these modes for basic codes let alone adjust airmatic ride height etc.. im probably looking for more comparisons of similar priced products if anyone knows much about any scanners other than star!

I have this one icarsoft MBii
Amazon Amazon
great for the basics, you can even disable brakes for fluid, pads etc, read and clear all MB specific codes but it can't do much of the serious stuff (ride height, EGR etc). I think STAR is your only option. Then again I guess it depends on how often you will think you need it. I would just pay someone to adjust my ride height, delete EGR, rear O2's and any other one off only procedures all in one go.

Did a bit more digging, I think I can get a cracked version of star that could potentially work with some hardware which could run cracked other diagnostics, so gonna research some more over Christmas.
