Spotted c63 amg 507 in Maryland
#2
I could count on one hand how many times I've seen a C63 (not including car meets) in Maryland since 2008, and that's including w205's as well. Can't say the same about M3's though.

agreed; I rarely see any but another 507?! Made my day; I had a e90 m3 prior to the c63; those are pretty rare as well; e92s I see all day long

A friend of mine had a white 507 but he recently sold it. I can check to see if it's still local here in MD. It has 507 written in red on the side. I used to drive my black Supercharged C63 around but I sold that.

There was one in Clarksburg that was recently sold, probably the same one that East Coast Euro is referring to. I have a white '12 sedan, car seats and no P31 up in the Urbana area.

[QUOTE=NavM;7627193]I'm in the area but mine is black. I was at EuroMotorcars in Bethesda a couple of days ago and saw a 2014 white Sedan 507 with 2 rear facing car seats in the back. I see another white sedan in the area every now and then, usually in Cabin John Plaza.

It's been a couple of years since I went to one of your rental events at MIR. Years back, it was my GT-R and then the S4. Never took the 507 to the drag strip though but did a few V-BOX runs here and there.

I can vouch for Zury Fabrications for custom X/H-pipes, cat and resonator deletes. He did mine and my friends, the craftsmanship and weld work is excellent. He did move his rental space out to Pasadena recently though, a bit further out but much better shop IMO.

I commute from Lanham to Germantown for work so I may be spotted on 270 sometimes, But I don't have a 507 though. 2013 white coupe. But the only time I have seen another C63 was at a meet. I may drive the car for one more weekend before I put her in hibernation lol

Seconded on Zury. Brian did work on my GT-R and installed the power pipe on my Benz. Top notch craftsmanship. Worth the money you will spend because you can find cheaper shops for sure. But hey, we aren't poor in here right? *laughs*

I'd be up for meeting in the spring assuming I still have my car. Currently in the shop getting coolant leak checked (yes, very possibly head-bolts at 94,000 miles). Even before this though, I've been averaging over $2000/year on repairs (fuel pumps on year, intake manifold the next, alternator and battery a month ago). So it may be up for sale come March.

The only car worthy of replacing my Edition 507 is a 911 turbo S so moving in that direction. A GT3 would have been too much of a compromise with 3 kids, lol.
Mine is stock other than an AFE air filter and charcoal filter delete. If you'd like some exhaust work such as deleting secondary cats, there are several shops in the area but I personally have experience with Zury Fabrications located between Baltimore and DC. Unfortunately, I can 't recommend a shop who can do headers.

I just put 2 and 2 together. I'm a little slow sometimes. Didn't recognize the screen name but I remember you.

Well, my Christmas miracle this year is the leak was the radiator end caps. Not sure why I wasn't finding coolant on the ground or why I could run for 3 weeks without coolant loss only to drain a quart in one day. But I'll take it.
