E400 4matic Cabriolet
AMG Multispoke Wheels

Hi Everyone,
I'm about to finalize a lease swap on a 2018 E400 Cabriolet with the AMG Package. I really like the Mercedes multispoke wheels on the car. I was wondering where I can get a set of OEM Multispoke wheels and tires for this car at a reasonable price, or if not OEM, perhaps someone can recommend a quality brand that looks identical to the OEM. I don't want to go the eBay or Craigslist rout as they tend to be poor quality. Thanks in advance for your help. Thanks

Used market is probably your best bet. I'd avoid replicas.

First try the marketplace on this forum. You may get lucky. I would then try e-bay but be sure you get OEM wheels because the market is flooded with replicas. Also be aware that there are a lot of "scammers" out there peddling wheels. So it is imperative that you do your due diligence. Good luck with your search.

Either way, even used OEM wheels can be expensive.

Here's an eBay listing for a set that the seller claims are OEM
https://www.ebay.com/itm/19-MERCEDES...wz~paCS8HFront Size: 19x8.5
Rear Size: 19x9.5
Offset: Front: 38 & Rear: 38 I was under the impression that the offset was 43 for the E-class coupe? Will these fit the 2018 E400 4matic Cabrio? Also, how can one be sure that these are actual OEM? The seller has a solid rating. Thanks in advance for your help

this multispoke wheels come in 20” only for E class coupe and sedans with 20x8 et43 for the front and 20x9 et49 for the rear
all other sizes are fake or for different chasis
This wheels are for W222 so they don't fit E coupe
And there is a mistake in the sellers description. They are 20 inch wheels, not 19

20" AMG multi-spoke
I have the 20" multi-spoke wheels on my 2018 cab.
I grazed both fronts after 3 months (I know) so I bought a set of replicas made in China which I had fitted while my original AMG's were totally refurbished. The cost was £700 for 4, instead of several thousand for original AMG wheels.
The company I used to refurbish did a fantastic job, so good in fact that I am nervous about refitting them to my car!

Seriously, I am going to see out the winter on the replicas and fit the originals in the spring.
The replicas are indistinguishable from the original, apart from the AMG logo which is not quite correct. The replicas have black inserts, instead of dark grey. The Chinese wheels run 100% true (I was expective steering wheel shake when I drove away from the fitting shop) and have stayed immaculate (no flaking or blemishes at all). I bought them on eBay and paid cash on fitting at a slightly rundown tyre shop in north London.
My experience was good, yours may vary of course.

Thank you for your reply paulgeoghegan. Are the wheel specs of the replicas the same as the originals or did you need spacers? Would you mind sharing the specs of your wheels and tires. I’m thinking of going with the replicas as well. They have several local shops here in Brooklyn that sell them. They were highly recommended by the owner.

AMG Multispoke wheels

Hi
I don't know off the top of my head what the offsets are, but I made sure they knew what car/model I was driving and was assured they were the right ones for my car.
I was expecting problems to be honest, but in fact they were a perfect fit. The only slight issue was that the wheel bolts on the original wheels were shorter than those needed for the replicas. They had a set of Mercedes bolts and we used those, but it would have been a problem if they had not had them, of course.
Apparently the saloon and the cab (Coupe as well)?? use different length bolts from each other.
The main thing is that the replicas fitted so the offset must be the same.
The tyres on my car are Goodyear and the fronts are 245/35R20 and the rears are 275/30R20.
Hope that helps.

Mine have black inserts and they're the original wheels, but then I do have the night package. I believe the gray inserts are for non-night package cars.

yes, that makes sense.
TBH I am not a fan of black wheels normally, but black does work on these AMG wheels because of the bright metal.
As I say, I have both grey (original) and black now and I don't really have a preference.

Yes, that what I said, the only reason I know they didn't come off the same production facility is the logo, it's not correct.
Other than that the finish, the weight, the quality of machining etc. etc. is the same as the 'real' AMGs from the factory.
I was only planning on using them as stand-ins while my originals were fixed, but three months later and I am in no hurry to put the originals back on the car.

Yes certainly, I will dig out the invoice and eBay listing,
Before I do so though, I am based in London. Are you based in the UK?

I’m in the US. I wanted to get the exact wheel sizes and offsets of the replicas to make sure I get the same ones. I know the exact factory wheel sizes and offsets but I’m not able to find replicas to those exact specifications. Thanks.

This is the link to the wheels I bought.
very high quality, but of course there are no doubt a number of Chinese manufacturers producing these wheels so I can only comment on my experience which has been very positive.

Paul, they are 35 offsets on both the front and rear. The 238 coupe/cabrio comes from the factory with 20 x 8 et 43 front and 20 x 9 et 49 back wheels. The offsets are very different. How can they fit perfectly?

Perhaps soneibe can shed shed some light on this? That’s why I have not bought anything yet.

Can’t answer that, sorry.
please note that I said this was the seller, not that these are the exact same wheels. I should have made that clearer in my last post.
‘The ones I bought were advertised as being for the 2018 e-class coupe / cab so the description is not the same for this eBay listing.
Presumably if the offsets were that different they just wouldn’t fit, but mine do with no problem.
