S550 Coupe Sport Package Option (Code 321)
This option was available in '15, 16, but not '17. I was told by a MB sales rep that they all came with this option in '17, so I guess you could say it wasn't an option. While I'm don't know about '18's, the '19's show the option available. Can anyone shed some light on this?

From my understanding they all came and still come with this option. I personally prefer them without the 321 option, as it was originally shown on the concept cars. Mine was standard with the AMG cladding, since it is an Edition 1 but would rather have it with the chrome sweeping the body lines.,

Here's what I found out from a MB rep who got the info right off his computer in front of me. The sport option, code 321, was an option, at additional cost, on the '15's and '16's. All '17's, at least USA models, came with it at no additional cost. It then became an option again at additional cost ($5900) on the '18's and '19's. The price was the same, $5900, in '15 and '16 with the exception of those '15's that came with the Edition 1 package option where it was included. Cost of the Edition 1 package was $10,810, which included many other options.

With the Edition 1, came every option MB offered including the Swarsky crystal headlamps (only found on the Maybach and S65) the high end Brumester sound system, Only 700 were built and were only in Magnitite Black with Bengal red interior. I am finding the Edition 1’s are bringing much higher prices than any of the other 15 models.

Edition 1, not true, they always give a package of options on every 'special version' But they never ever have given 'every option' away.
rear refrigerator, heated windshield, night view, carbon fiber exterior pkg, sport amg steering wheel, optional amg wheels, skymagic roof, heated rear seats, red brake calipers etc etc
As for price differences, only a particular option will adjust the normal nada type values, like performance pkg, distronic pkg, special stereo, etc. I see plenty of E1, same prices. Only a dealer that is trying to sell one will tell you they are worth more.

I'm in S. FL and I don't see higher prices for them. I passed on 2 a few months ago, both in the low $70's, and both low miles and in excellent condition. The problem with these to me is the factory warranty is over, unless CPO 'ed by MB dealer, and they were the first of a new model off the production line.

Yes, I know the option list as I have my Mulroney report and they are all optioned the same. You got a much better price for the Edition 1 because everything was packaged instead of separately optioned.

Yes, it's too high. I talked to them about it but they won't move on price and it's been sitting for over 2 months. You can get a '16 for that $ in S. FL Here's a couple:
