33 inch tires

I am sorry if this is a too worn out question but does anyone have experience with 33 inch tires .
I have a 2 inch lift and want to install a set of BFG LT 305 /65 18 on my 2007 G55. Thanks in advance.

I ran 33" tires on my 2" spacer lifted w463 for a year no problem. They are a perfect fit. You can fit 35s but they will rub a bit at full lock. 33s (Grabber AT2s in my case) had no issues.

Many thanks for the quick reply do you think the 12 inch wide tire will rub? I need to do something quickly because even though my current stock tires have lots of tread they have many dry rot cracks in the side walls and I `m afraid of a blow out.

tires wont be the problem. Its the stock rims, you will need spacers to push the rims out.

new 33`s
Well, I bought BFG all terrains size 285 / 65 18 on my stock rims, 2 inch lift and no spacers I havent had a chance to test drive them yet- just the 1 mile trip home, but they seem pretty good .The tire pressure monitors are working , set at 45 psi. The car looks very good and the wheel wells are nice and full. Look out Pisgah Nat Forest here I come!

I have been running 265/65-18 tires for a few years on stock springs and shocks. Tires are about 32”. I don’t see 33” tires being of any concern even with my stock height.

The tires fit fine and I did not need spacers thankfully.
I was surprised at how opposed to spacers the tire guys were. They really did not want to do them.
