New member alert!!!
Hello w202 owners my name is Sandro and I live in Queens, New York. I’ve been on many forums like club202 (og w202 forum!!) and benzworld just viewing threads for the most part. I’ve never introduced myself on any of the forums until now. I chose this forum cause I think it’s so much better then benzworld and plus club202 is dead now . I see that this forum is still pretty active which is great and plus there’s so many great threads I’ve read through. Now I’d like to tell you about my w202 cars at the moment. I daily a 2000 c230k sport which was my first car I got Towards the end of highschool last year. I later saved up my money and worked to buy a 1999 c43 Amg and a 1997 C280 Sport. The amg is my project at the moment I’ve been gathering a few things for it over the months that I’ve had the car. I purchased 4 piston Brembos from a c32, 3 peice Wald rims, and a few things that it was missing.... I still Have a lot more to go. I hope to get the 43 ready by the summer and plan to sell my c230k, and C280 soon. Here’s a few pics of my w202s.

haha W202 fever when I end up selling my C280 and c230k I will need a new winter daily for the cold winters here in New York. Not sure what to get yet a w210, w203, w124. Something manual would be nice but that means I’d have to buy a Volkswagen, bmw or Volvo

haha yeah the 744 silver metallic is quite a nice color. The previous owner had the rims on the car when I bought it. They are not lorinser, the rims are from a lowkey company called alzor. My daily looks so much nicer then the c43 cause of how it sits. Currently on h and r sport springs with Bilstein shocks. For the c43 I’m looking to buy a suspension mod this week. A buddy of mine on instagram recommenced me coilovers from a company called JOM. He has them on his c43 and it looks sweet!!!! I might give those a try because I like the idea of Being able to adjust ride height. I can have my c43 nice and low for the summer here, then for the winter I can set it back to stock height. Plus with the combo of wheels and brakes I have ready to install will look sick !!!!! By the way I have a car page I started on Instagram @broken_euros everyone feel free to follow ! I may change the name soon though

the JOM Coilovers are priced from $400-$600 depending on where you find them. Jom makes coilovers for many Volkswagens, bmws and Audi’s. They have mixed reviews so I’m not sure about them anymore. I was thinking of vogtland springs might buy those and save money . The nice thing about the JOM coilovers is that they bolt right on. Heard that some coilovers you have to do some retro fitting for the w202s

dude that’s sick !!!! I feel like I’ve seen your c43 before . I’ve never seen a c43 in person until I bought mine. But this past month I’ve seen 2!!!!!! My friends dad just picked one up so I got to look at that. And the other day when I went to buy my Wald wheels I spotted a c43 by hillside ave and I couldn’t believe it. I went around the block to make sure it was a c43 and it was!! Is that’s yours ? And by the way when I have my c43 registered and on the road we should meet up

Don't daily the C43, especially in NY. Car is too rare to replace/repair if you get dinged, etc.I'd honestly keep one of the other w202s to daily (or at least use as a parts car).

haha I can totally agree with you on that. I plan on having the car registered through the summer to enjoy it and then when it’s winter, put the car away and register a winter beater.

i currently just have the stock 17s which are pretty dogged except the spare . I did purchase these 18 inch staggered monoblocks off a w220 s class. Not sure what the exact name of them are but these are them. Might save them for a future Benz cause of the Wald wheels I got the other day The 3 piece wheels with a bigger chrome lip will be a neck breaker on the c43!!

Silver one drivers smooth but the black one is in better condition with the tuxedo interior and low miles 75k cars pretty sold
I put a new transmition in it and gonna touch up the paint this summer , it needs to be lowered as well and 18 inch rims
I don’t drive them every day but every chance I get I take them for a spin V8 power
you now of any meetups out here would be nice to start up a MB car club

Good find...never see any 43/36's here in north jersey.Though there is a silver 36 in North Bergen at a gas station been there for years...plated and I see it parked in different spots from time to time.... always tempted to see if the owner would sell but if I were to get a 36 I want Imperial red....
