w211 front trasformation on w212 R
Hi to everyone,
i almost finish the front transformation of my w211 (2006) in W212 (2013-2016). Now I have the problem to make work the headlights, because the old ones are completely halogen and have 3 connectors, the new ones have same led lamps, one H7 lamp and one PSY24w lamp, and also a control unit and a 14 pins connector. I spoke with many car electrical repair shop in my area but they are scared to do this kind of modify. I'm sure that it is possible, because in Italy there are many funeral car transformation company how make this, but they dont sell me the electrical kit to do the connection. This morning one of this told me that the adaptation kit include a aftermarket ballast unit (absolutely not the original one), other modules to avoid the can bus errors and the cable to link the 14 pins connector to the 3 old ones, and other staff.......someone tried to do this before?? Help me please.....

Can you post some pictures? It is interesting. Did you have to cut and fit parts/panels or it was drop-in replacements?
