W213 Ashtray lid stuck
Hello Guys. I have a problem with the ashtray lid because it stuck and I can't open it. I have removed the cover and the Cup holders inside but it still wont open. The reason why it's stuck is that theres an item stuck inside and thats why I cant open it. I have tried to remove the item inside but it wont move. Please help me.

This is a tough one, there really isnt a way to open the ash tray other than simply flipping the lid up. I would also suggested with maybe a thin blade or utility knife to go between the opening and closing to push whatever is holding it aside. Other than that youre going to have to buy a new one.

Buy a new one? No way. MB can get that working for you. You're under warranty, yes? Just take it in if you give up or haven't the patience. Do not buy anything.

Yes, I'd say take it in to the dealer, they could probably get it open while you wait. My dealer is really good about stuff like that because it's a newer car and I bought it from them. If you can get it open just a crack and get the coat hanger in there it might work.
