Reservoir pump & headlamp nozzles not working

Well it seems that I might have an issue that some might be able to help me with. I checked the windshield Reservoir and its filled. I believe I have a leak coming from the grommet under it where the pump goes but really can't confirm that as it doesn't stop snowing in new jersey to really take it apart and verify this. Anyway onto to my 2 problems with the headlamp washer nozzles and windshield Reservoir pump. The first problem is that when I activate the headlamp washer nozzle it seems like the brand new Headlight Headlamp Washer Nozzle leak all over the place. I bought an aftermarket pair on ebay and they are garbage. They leak all over the place from different areas when in use which I verified. I am thinking of buying the oem ones considering that a lot of the aftermarket ones on ebay seem to be sub-par. Anyone here have lucky with aftermarket Headlight Headlamp Washers? I need both left/right sides. Onto to my second issue which has to do with my windshield reservoir which seems to have an issue. I noticed that when I try to clean my windshield the sprayers don't shoot out cleaner. In fact I don't hear anything at all. I am guessing that it's the reservoir pump but I want to know first if there is a fuse to this pump which is under the windshield reservoir. If there is no fuse then I am would think that it's the pump itself. How do I test the pump itself?

You can get the MB headlight washers online for ~$100/pair. I've never tried the aftermarket units, but for a few bucks it's worth not having to remove/replace the bumper and fiddle with the washers.

The challenge with the washer pump is that there's not a lot of room near the pump itself. Ideally you would connect a voltmeter to the electrical connection and observe whether you are getting 12V when the washer is activated. For me, I just ordered two new pumps (headlight and windshield), three new gaskets (headlight pump, windshield pump and level sensor pump) and a new cap since mine was toast. This was two years ago and I've not had a problem since, through 2 very hot Phoenix summers.

These ought to work, unless I missed a footnote somewhere;

2218690121 Windshield Washer pump
1239973681 Windshieid Washer pump grommet

2108691221 Headlight Washer pump
0109971181 Headlight Washer pump grommet

2038690098 Fluid Level Sensor grommet
2218209110 Fluid Level Sensor

2218690072 Fluid Reservoir Cap

Also if you check out this post by konigstiger there's a great illustration of the tub and its bits.

Thank you. Not $100 each but $85 each for my E63. It’s something but shipping costs kill it.

Thanks

Holy crap, even aftermarket those are expensive! That's a standard W211 unit too. Reminds me of the unreasonably expensive units on my '01 E430, similar price.
