i have a big phone, i just worry there's not enough space for the phone. but i guess i can always return it. i currently have Samsung s10+
when i had the 2019 c300 loaner with build-in wireless charging, it's just have enough room ( barely ) for my note9.

I have 2016 c450. i only able to remove the ashtray cover, I unable to remove the whole ashtray, dont know if you have to.

Can you not remove the entire ashtray? It all held in with a tension spring. You should be able to grab each side and firmly lift up & out and it will all pop out.

Right, exactly. Netboy had posted twice about only being able to remove the ashtray lid. I was confused where he was having issues.

due to my ashtray being really dirty and sticky, it held up really tight.
since you said it' removable so i use a screwdriver and put some forces ( i dont really care i brick it ) on it. it finally pop out !

that was the first mod i did to my car. pulled the ashtray out and gained some storage space!
