Coilover question
Apart from the AMG GTR I feel these cars needs a little drop to look right. Our other cars have air or ABC suspension that can be dropped easily via module but on the GTC it seems best to use coil overs like the KW H.A.S.
Since the car is already a bit stiffer than the SL I am wondering how the ride quality suffers on a 1" - 1 1/4" drop.
Any feedback is appreciated...

Edited the post as I misunderstood spring rates and the different KW options.
Let me re-phrase. Who has installed any lowering springs or coil overs on the AMG GT/GTS/GTC?
Which brand and result in ride quality vs. OEM
Especially curious which model. I have driven the ED1 GTS and later GTS's and GTC's and the ED1 was the harshest on the road (all with DP)
Most interested in GTC of course as that is the car we planning to drop.
Thanks!

We have installed plenty of KW springs and the Variant 3 coiloiver kit on these cars. Some customers tell me the HAS makes the ride harsher while others are ok with it. Maybe the Variant 3 is for you as you have plenty of settings for the compression / rebound dampening so you can find the perfect setting for your drive style. I have included a link to both below. The Variant 3 also has a $350 rebate on top of the selling price right now which makes it a great buy. Feel free to PM or email me and I can assist further.

Opinions will vary widely, I don’t find the KW HAS to be anywhere close to being too firm.
I prefer the HAS as you are able to keep the factory suspension setting adjustability.

Thanks for the feedback! I am leaning towards the HAS as well as I don’t want to loose the adjustable suspension dampers. Not looking for really aggressive drop but I like to close the gap.
I am using our E63s ED1 as a guide which is lowered and spacers and that car is firmer than the GTC in stock form. I am hoping that the car remains more or less stock firmness with a 1” or so drop.

I have the KW HAS and it is ever so slightly harsher than stock. The roads around me are absolute garbage and it doesn't bother me too much with the shocks on the softest setting. Still, the ride quality is my one small complaint with this car.

Great feedback on KW HAS.
Which got me thinking. Once the GTR Pro is out I can see current GTR owners buy some of the Pro's suspension components since there are now MB part numbers for that.
Likewise I wonder if anyone has compared the part number list of the GTC vs GTR suspension.
AFAIK, the GTC has the same suspension setup of the GTR minus adjustable coil overs. If that is the case, why not get the GTR coil overs instead?
