Low Dust Brake Pads for 2019 SL63 AMG

Moderators: I accidentally posted this in the R230 section. Please move to the SL63 SL65 R231 forum. Thanks.

Hello All,

I'd forgotten how dirty the OEM brake pads are since I replaced them on my '09 SL 550 soon after I got it. I'm looking to do the same on my new '19 SL63, and I have two questions. First, what's a good brand these days? My last ones on the SL 550 were EBC 'Red'. Second, does anyone know if the pads on the '19 are the same as the ones on the '18. Thanks.

We have EBC Yellowstuff on our shop and pretty happy with the performance and no dust.

Is this what you'd recommend for a 2013 SL 63 AMG with PP? Thx.

I've used both Akebono and EBC Red Stuff on several cars, including the SL55. Both stop well, and are very low in dust generation.

Thx Ed. After reading this, I went online and they have a tool where you punch in your car, etc., and it recommends which pads to get. They recommend the Red for SL63 so I'm going to go with those. 'preciate it!

No problem. Let me know if you want to order them through us. We are an authorized EBC dealer.

What's the price if ordering through you? Pretty sure I can get them, or order locally, at O'Reilly's (also get a discount there). Thx.
