Looks like you have black ashwood? I have the same interior. My suggestion is to use a fine tip black permanent marker to color the areas where unstained wood is showing. You'll be pleasantly surprised how this hides the damage, which from your photo looks minimal. The great thing about the natural finish ashwood interiors is that they have a lot of surface texture, unlike the high gloss finishes, so its easier to hide nicks. Good luck.

I would suggest buying a wood marker, they have all kinds of various shades instead of using a sharpie. I would think a sharpie would be too black when the black ash wood has some charcoal gray hues

I going to head to an art/hobby shop to look at a drafting pencil as it's more precise and I can probably get one in flat charcoal.

Not to revive an old thread but I also need to touch up my Ash Black interior wood trim on my 2019 E450, option number 736. Has anyone had any luck sourcing touch up stain for this. Thanks.
