W204 C200 (2011) Estate Relay Diagram
Hi, this is my first post. Does anyone have a relay assignment diagram for a 2011 C200 W204 Estate? I want to check the relay for the rear windshield wiper. The VIN is: WDD2042011F647770.
BTW, I entered the VIN in the decoder tool and it said it is invalid. I've treble-checked the VIN and it is correct as above.
Thanks.

There are two issues. The tailgate wiper motor is controlled by the rear SAM N10\2,however in response from the front SAM N10\1 stalk----first you have the power up of the rear SAM circuit 15 relay N10\2kA relay then the tailgate motor on\off relay N10\2kE------therefore if you don't have xentry check both as they are the only relays on N10\2 on the rear SAM.

Thanks Plutoe, I can't see any markings on the rear SAM that look like N10\2kA or N10\2kE. There are a bunch of fuses and six relays (I think). If I pull the relays out there's a letter on the socket under each one; A, B, C, D etc. Incidentally, there's nothing in E. Am I looking at the right thing? Thanks.

Well if that's the case you found the solution to your problem----socket E is the tailgate wiper motor relay position ,socket A is the power on to the rear SAM from the front SAM.

Hi Plutoe, I took the relay out of position D and plugged it into E and got a live current on the other pin on the motor connector.
So now I have 1) An earth, 2) a switched live that switches every 7 seconds, or continuous while the rear washer is operated and 3) A permanent live (I assume this is required so that the motor can park after the wiper is switched off at the stalk).
The wiper still didn't work, so I tried a new motor and now it works fine. So many thanks for helping me to identify the missing relay. I'm guessing that someone relocated the relay in the wrong place while investigating the original problem, which appears to be a faulty motor.
I have 2 remaining questions that you may be able to help with:
1) What is the relay slot D used for? If my hunch is right, then this would have been empty. I can't find anything that has stopped working after leaving that slot vacant.
2) The permanent live is on all the time (even when the wiper stalk is set to 'off'). In that case, I can't understand why that current for this is going via the relay. I would have expected the switched live to go via the relay.

B=Circuit 15 relay
C=Heated rear window relay
D=Fuel pump relay
F=Seat adjustment relay
G=Circuit 15 relay(backup)
Remember the rear SAM is powered by the front SAM and is always on until circuit 15 is turned off
FYI if you have power to the rear SAM when the key is in the off position you have another issue!!
