Help Needed: Fob/Sensors not paired anymore cannot open door w/o pressing fob buttons

The door handle unlock/lock sensors AND trunk foot sensors are not working with 1 keyfob. Engine starts, unlock/lock buttons work ONLY the sensors are not picking up the fob. The other fob WORKS 100%, so I know its only the fob NOT the car. I replaced the battery in the main fob last night, nothing.

How do I get the sensors to recognize the fob again? It seems like the fob and sensors are not recognizing eachother anymore.

Does the fob need to re-paired to the car?

HELP needed! Thanks!

.
Have you tried reactivating the Smart Key functions using the methods described in the Operators Guide?
The easiest one is to put the Smart Key in its console slot and start the car. That will activate all functions.
Smart Key functions can be disabled by a combination of key presses.
If it is stored in a pocket/purse with other stuff, inadvertent key presses can occur.

This happens to me from time to time. I thought that it might be the case I have the fob in or other outside influences. Now I'm thinking maybe it's an actual issue. Time to search!

Have you tried to replace the battery in the key fob?

UPDATE- And not one I made an effort to do

Today I ran an errand and around 45 mins later I decided to wash my car. I go to get my sunglasses from inside the car AND..............whalaa.....the door touch entry unlocks!! Idk why I didn't use the fob to open my door as I know the touch entry hasn't worked for a couple months. Then I go to the rear to try the trunk foot open jesture that still doesn't work, lol. BUT the trunk button works lol......weird right?

The thing is, we have been getting alot of rain recently. Earlier in the day it came down hard for around 30 mins and I didnt drive my car until my errand....i cant think of anything else

I park outside BTW- just incase someone would wonder why rain would have anything to do with this lol
