722.9 trans drain plug thread pitch and diameter?
What is the size (thread pitch and diameter) of the drain plug on a 2012 GL450 722.9 transmission? Just verified that it is 12mm x1.5 so it should be easy enough to make my own filler fitting or find one at Ace that will do the job.
Why does the filler tool on FCPEuro for a 722.9 trans say it does not fit a 2012 GL450?
Still unanswered: white or green overflow tube?

I bought the $184 kit from FCPEuro for a 2012 GL450 and the Liqui-moly 1900 Fluid is a blue/green color. They sent me a green overflow tube and the one in my pant is also green so no confusion there.
Since my kit came with 7 L. of fluid I am going to drain just 1.5 L. out of the TC and use the remaining 5.5 L. for the pan/filter fluid change. This worked out very well and gave me an almost complete fluid change. If I had been very careful with my 7 L. of fluid, i.e. had no spills, I feel I could have let 2 L. drain out of the TC and had enough for the pan/filter change. It took no more than about two minutes for the 1.5 L. to drain out of the TC and the tranny pan came up to 113 degrees F. fairly quickly from a cold engine.
Thanks again for chiming in.
