Not sure what happened but my text and before pictures disappeared.

Finally decided to bite the bullet and upgrade to AMG brakes.

Really wanted to do the same on my car but decided the cost / effort wasn't worth it (too hard to find any good information or pricing for 4-matic).

Have you noticed any differences in braking?

2014 E550-sold 😩
That has to have changed the handling pretty dramatically. Nice wheels and tire choice as well. The whole enchilada.

Yes definitely an improvement in braking, but I did it purely for the looks

6 pot up front and 4 pots rear. Don’t have the part numbers sorry. Paid a firm to do it. I am based in HK.

So, what AMG bakes are these? My non AMG E550 front calipers look a lot stronger that these red AMG calipers.

Mine surely are not red in color but they seem quite large. The spoke of the wheel covers the "Mercedes Benz text on the caliber but if I try to include that to the picture then both ends of the caliber are behind two spokes. Looking at the pictures it seems the AMG brakes are quite a bit bigger though my brakes are so strong I don't feel I need any bigger. But it is all for looks, right?

Ahh I see what you mean. I like this setup, if my original callipers were like these I would not have changed it. They look bigger in relation to the wheel at a guess. I am running 20s. Thanks for posting!
