Pulled Trigger On Eurocharged C63 AMG Tune!
Solomon at Eurocharged is a great guy! He was fantastic to work with and took great care of me. I ordered a Tune/My Genius for my 2017 C63. They are waiting for their order of My Genius Units to arrive in stock, so it should be soon! I chose EuroCharged because the long history of solid results, 4 hours away if I ever needed to go there, and wanted to be able to load/unload my tune easily whenever I need to. Also, if I add mods, it’s easy to modify the tune and reload. Can’t wait to email it to Jerry so he can work his magic.
My C63’s 100% Stock 469HP 479TQ and their Tune offers up to 639HP & 600 ft-lb TQ. That’s a Nice Gain for a regular C63. Will report back results once it’s installed.

Looking at the dyno results from the Eurocharged tune, you're big power gain is in the mid-range (3K to 5K), not up near redline. If anything, because of that increase in mid-range power, it'll almost feel like you're running out of power near redline.

I will check into that prior to them tuning so I know what to expect in terms of power gains throughout the RPM Band. I am not an expert on Turbo engines, but my Vette had several size CAMs in it over the years. If you wanted to have Power up Top, to get that, you'd give up some power down low. It was always a trade-off as with a CAM you're just shifting the powerband. Turbo's are probably tuned and act much different than NA cars. If I had a choice though, I'd much rather have the additional gains in the low and mid-range which is what gets used much more often. Most don't get to really open her up as often to be able to really take advantage of the top end in the high RPM rnage.
Question: Do the W205 C63 Twin-Turbos, in general, all fall off in the upper RPM range? Or is that a function of the tune that may be maximizing the lower/midrange gains, which in turn, reduces some of the top end performance?

I am running upgraded turbos and I’d and I have pull throughout.

Thanks Money! So it’s just the stock turbos in general that run out of steam. That makes me feel better actually.
I’ve been through adding every bolt on known to man chasing more power and still have my 01 C5 with 37,000 miles with no cats. I ran 100+ runs at the track with a best of 11.19 at 125.66 MPH, and low 11’s consistently.
I’ve only had my C63 3 weeks but I’ve decided I’m not going to get crazy chasing HP this time. A Tune is a no brainer as it’s such a HUGE GAIN for cheap.
My stock Exhaust is too quiet and I’m eventually looking at options. Modifying the stock, or an after market like Armytrix, Akrapovic.

EC's was back ordered a few weeks on The MyGenius HandHelds, but I finally got my package Wednesday after work. The problem was, that morning I had dropped her off at the dealer for a dash rattle under warranty. They are slammed, so I hope to get it back tomorrow (Friday), or worst case Saturday. I will have to download my Stock File and e-mail it to EC, so I may not be able to get my Tune File back to load until next week depending on when my Car is Ready.
A member I've been talking to also just received and loaded his EC Tune. He said it was Awesome and so far No Issues!

I've been running EC for a few months now and no issues at ALL... Amazing tune that pulls HARD, it's ridiculous, the car is a complete beast...
You going to be able to come out tomorrow to Grapevine? Also a meet tomorrow in Southlake

I picked up my C63 from the Dealer today. I’d already done the updates for the MyGenius Handheld software the night before, so I was ready to go!
I got home and downloaded my Stock ".fpf" file and
e-mailed it to EuroCharged at 6:30pm, so likely won’t see my email until maybe Monday?
Requested a Stage II Tune on my currently Bone Stock C63, and also just purchased a used AWE Track Exhaust on this forum and plan to install it next month.
I will report back once I flash my Stage II EC Tune.

I have the V7 Eurocharged tune in my 2014 C63, and while it did wake the car up and I love the added aggressiveness, at low speeds, mainly in 1st gear, the car is jerky. You really have to feather the throttle gently in S or S+. My wife thinks something is wrong with the car because of the jerkiness. I'm thinking about tuning my 2016 C63S, but want to know from those that added a Eurocharge tune, if I would get that similar jerkiness in first gear?

I can't answer you as I don't have my tune file yet. I should get Monday 6-24-19. I replaced both Air-Filters over the weekend and I am going to change my oil at home for the 1st time on my 4-post lift. I bought 10 quarts of M1 OW-40, and will go to the dealer to grab the rest as I get 10% off. I just got the car and the oil looks as if it was just changed, BUT, I don't know for sure? I just want to make sure I do the basics before I add the extra HP/TQ.
I'm 4 hours from EC, so if I had any issues that were tuning related or affected driveability. I'd drive my C63 to EC and get it figured out. If I drive to Houston for any reason, I'd plan to visit EuroCharged and get my C63 dynoed and datalog to make sure A/F ratios, and everything else is perfect. If not, touch up the tune right there.

Would love an update once it’s done. I decide to go with dinan had a few hiccups still but for euro how much was it. Also which stage did u go and what other choices did you consider. I was looking at a few obd2 ones and the one that require the full ecu to be sent out seem like a pain. But that huge of a power increase with everything else stock is crazy.
