I just did similar. Buy it Now was 60 bucks. I made offer for less because of stupid Ebay taxing all sales.
Seller agreed to 55.99 and Ebay Tax of 3.71
Should be arriving today or tomorrow.
Hope it works well. Because the Android Auto really does suck!!!

Complete Update Information on post #39 here
I just picked one up myself for only $25 from ebay --- v6.0 instead of the latest v11 and is a genuine Mercedes card
You do not need the newest version and can upgrade the maps for free here --- https://shop.mercedes-benz.com/en-gb...rmin-map-pilot
EDIT: updated with correct link for version 3 download manager
You will however need an SD card slot on a computer, adapter or friend that has one to update the maps.
You also need to ensure you have code 522 "AUDIO 20 RADIO NAVIGATION CAPABLE NTG5" which can be verified here https://www.datamb.com/
In any case, mine is enroute and will post verifying everything went smoothly updating to the latest map version.

Mine claims to be V10. Seller said it was the latest??
But if update is free and V11 is available. I will try it later. Tracking shows it arriving today
Thanks. I will report back on how the update and install went

The latest part number is A2189066003 which comes back to v11 on search results.
Another user on the thread above said they had a v12 update last month??
Mine won't be here until next week to check but good luck on yours.

OK, so insert it in my car. Let it load and then tale it back out and use the site and the sd card slot?
I thought it locks onto your VIN once installed? How would it take an update?

thats my guess is that it needs to have the vin locked in order to update it so the MB site can verify the vehicle. I was going to try and update it first myself and see what happens then if it failed load it in my car and do the update again. I won't know first hand until I try though but that thread looks pretty reliable what the process is.

Received my SD card. I realized my desktop and laptop do not have SDCard slots.
So that made the decision easy on which to do first(install in car or update)
Card was sealed. V10. inserted. prompted a few things and done.
Better NAV then any previous MB factory NAV. and MUCH better then that Android Auto nonsense
Even has altitude! Will come in handy next week for my Long Distance Shooting Course
I guess I am stuck with V10

If you do want to update your maps (though you are only 1 version behind) I have used a SanDisk Imagemate 12 in 1 SDDR-89 card reader for many years and looks like can pickup from ebay for about $15. They now have faster ones looks like are only about $30.
Newer ones are USB 3.0

First make sure your computer recognizes the card reader -- should be listed as another drive.
Other than that there should be prompts to locate your sd card i would think but perhaps the other thread in the w205 forum will give you some hints.
edit: the download manager site also has a PDF instruction manual

updated link for correct download manager above -- it is here for v3 https://shop.mercedes-benz.com/en-gb...rmin-map-pilot
I received my card and verified it does need installed in the vehicle first and v1 download manager will not even recognize the SD Card
Remember to download and install adobe air first as administrator then install the download manager as administrator after
I will install the card to my vehicle then update another day
v6.0 card -- $25 on ebay new
version 1 not recognized
version 3 needs inserted into vehicle first

Those screen shots are EXACTLY what I was seeing. and I had mine loaded and locked to my VIN already
Unless you have better luck and figure it out. I will leave my V10 alone

I am not sure what you are asking. Yes, I picked it up recently on Ebay
It seems to work great all POI i checked were accurate. Even newer streets(within a few years) are on maps as well

All my update times below are with a hard 1Gb/s line. Actual download speed never went much over 1MB/s
Anyhow I had to do updates twice. I backed up my old version first and only took about 10 minutes.
The first update just updated the actual software version which was about 488MB and took about 15 minutes.
After the software update was completed I had to install it into my car again then check for updates after. Currently the maps are being updated from V6 to V12 and is 25.52GB. At the rate it is going i estimate it will take about 10 hours.
Here is a link from the updater showing the different software interface --

And here are a few pics just showing the process and the old version in the car

You have an OEM GPS installed, right?
In that case, just find a new one on the ebay. They are not expensive, something in 50-100$ range.
Just make sure to get one that is compatibile with your car.
Regards.

The version 6 screenshots are before any updates.
You should have the newer software for the navigation i think like in the pdf link just older map maybe.
Note you only have 60 days to do any updates if you wanted to also.
