Hello guys I just became the owner of a W212 E63 AMG and had noticed a few issues within the first day...

First if I have what sounds like an exhaust rattle from the driver side when the car is warm.

Second the Tire Pressure monitor shows that 3/4 of my tires need air (I think because it needs more that 44

Third I am getting a malfunction Message for my suspension.

Can anyone chime in if they had similar issues?

1. What pressure do each tire have? You can reset the monitor to any pressure you set as the threshold

2. Did all these things happen the day of delivery? It's cpo correct?

3. Your airmatic needs servicing - be glad you're under warranty!! Take it in, see the first post.

4. Driver's side rattle -- not sure ... can you hear it when you listen to the car when you're outside of it and listening to the underside of the car? Can you hear it in the engine bay when the hood is open?

3.) My dads 2007 had several of these issues with the suspension its only the rears on this model correct? And yes thank god for warranty
4.) I can hear it with the hood closed but only after some spirited driving

The car is a CPO

reset your tire pressures in the menu system and you'll be fine ... rapid drops in pressure also triggers Warning and this could be due simply to temp changes

Peter hey. How’s your traction with ESP fully off using the 42 psi tire pressure on all four wheels? I was at 44 all around and dropped the tears to 36 and trying to determine if that’s improved reaction (with ESP fully off)

Yeah same here. My Michelin pilot sport A/s3 tires like to spin a bit at 42psi but are a bit better at 36-38. They are still better than the stock pierelli Pzeros.

Anyone other than me have an issue with the front lower control arm press-fit bushing loosening up? It's actually loosened so as the arm slid forward, which is a bit unusual. No signs of impact either.

Just got mine replaced at 26k miles. Brought car in for new tires and complained that the steering wheel and gas pedal vibrate abnormally while driving on the smoothest of roads at 60-80mph and while stopped at a slight incline (such as leaving a parking lot). Vibrations were subtle but high in frequency, not normal idle engine feel. Thought it was engine or transmission mounts. They found bushing on left control arm had come out completely, replaced under ESLW and now back to normal.
