Rear spring pad removal for coilovers?
Hi guys,
Quick question for anyone with coilovers. I just installed a set of fortune auto 500 (gen 7) series on my 2013 C63 w/ performance pack. The rear adjustment for the divorced spring is cranked down as low as it will go (spring pad still in place). The strut has also been shortened to its lowest possible setting. I think the car is sitting higher than stock form (in the rear). Any ideas?
Thanks!

Hey. Can you tell me about the adjustable spring perch for the Fortune coilovers? On my KW CS to adjust the height I have to either compress the spring and snake my hand in to the upper perch, or take that lower spring arm down with a jack. Either way isn’t ideal. From your pic it looks like that Fortune upper perch is externally adjustable without having to take apart the rear suspension? Is that right?

I don't think you can adjust the coilovers without lowering the rear spring bucket- they are just under too much tension (even on a lift with all four wheels off the ground). I have the same problem with the front camber plates. The front coil has to be removed to adjust the camber.
I have not had a chance to drive it much yet. I am still playing with the ride height. It has some slight rubbing right now that I want to get corrected (rear). I ended up going with the recommended spring rates of 7k/11k.
I am going to take it to the alignment shop after the long weekend. I will report back on ride quality soon.

Springs
Looks good but 7/11 is so soft for the c63. I have a c207 e550 coupe and I changed the front springs to 9k and I did a hybrid custom setup on the rear that allows me to use any coilover spring and I have 14.3k in the rear. Rides on rails.
