Horsepower issues
I am fairly new to MBWorld.
I’m not sure if this has been addressed before in other threads.
After breaking in my new 2019 C 63S coupe ( now 1500 miles on it ), when I try and fully open it up I never see my horsepower go above 498 and torque never get above 490
When I tried track pace using launch control 0 to 100 km time is 5.1 which is pretty high. Even when I change traction settings or when using lower or higher AMG traction control settings I don’t find any change in his number.
So my question is ... is my horsepower down because it needs more break in ?
Is my acceleration an issue because of this?
Should I see my dealer about this or just wait as things may open up a bit more as more breaking in occurs?
Some advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks David

Those in dash readings are just imaginary numbers designed to fool you in to thinking it's actually measuring or knows the HP output. When we tune the BMWs sometimes we change it to say 1000hp just to play with customers.
