Speaker Sizes in S-Class - 2017 S65 Coupe
Hello Guys,
Does anyone know which speaker Sizes a car like a 2017 S65 Coupe coupe be using?
So far, it seems likely that the tweets are 1-1/8", 3.5" mids and doors are either 6.5" or there are no 6.5" and it's actually another size like 8" in the footwells.
Any help would be appreciated!
I'm looking to upgrade to either Focal or Morel, or a similar premium brand. Seems like Focal is hit-or-miss with their product lines and Morel has only had good reviews from what I can see.

I know this is an old thread. Its really not the speakers. It is the crappy EQ Mercedes uses. You need something like a JL Audio Fix86 and some control over the factory amp frequency distribution. Also real sub, not those crappy footwell 8" speakers. Use those as midbass and do a real sub with its own amp.

Did you ever figure it out? Just bought a 2016 s65 coupe wit the 24 speaker system. Wondering about switching out to focal but cant find anything on what fits.
And help would.be great.

I Found 2 pairs of the focal is mbz 100's for $750 total. NIB supposedly. I am going to try and see if they fit in the '65... if not I will put them in the GLE 450..
