CONVERTIBLE TOP "FLAPS" are not closing when Top is Open
08 CLK350 and when I open the Top, the flaps that fold down at the last opening stage stick up. I can see where they might possibly slide in...but I can't figure out what's wrong?? Both flaps, the springs work. The connecting pins at the bottom are not broken.
I did notice the cable on both flaps dont have tension....like the cable is not properly seated or maybe its broken. I've searched the forums. Not a lot out there about this problem. Anyone had experience with these? What's the fix??

The arm on the flap pulls it down by way of a track that it rides under. The painted piece just pulls loose and then you can see the track and the arm. I just had to bend the arm slightly to get it back in the right spot.
