2004 Mercedes-Benz sl55 AMG. This beautiful car is a hardtop convertible giving you the best of both worlds with the flip of a switch. Luxury plus massive power! NEVER any problems (the only one was the typical “stuck in park issue – fixed, though manual shifter mode on the shifter does not work, but paddle shifters do.) I also have another shifter that can be used if it bothers you.
She's in like new condition. Shines better than new with ceramic coating, NO dents or scratches, etc., and interior like new with new Android touchscreen stereo and speakers behind the seats.
The 600hp supercharged v8 runs & drives absolutely amazing and is everything you'd expect out of a Mercedes AMG hand-built monster of an automobile.
The light grey leather interior & Alcantara headliner look great and smell like new. The exterior was 3 step paint corrected and then ceramic coated with Cquartz Professional which is a ceramic coating known for its impressive hydrophobic properties, UV protection, protection from the elements, and ease of washing. This is a 5-year coating per the manufacturer and NO waxing is required. This process was very expensive, & in my opinion the interior and exterior are a 9/10.
Recent maintenance includes ABC suspension tandem pump ($$$), ABC hydraulic fluid & filter, ABC accumulators, serpentine belt, serpentine system main belt tensioner & pulley, transmission mount, both engine mounts, OEM Mercedes (Fuchs) synthetic oil change & OE filter, crank position sensor, K&N air filters, etc.

-Modified AMG exhaust for a deep note, while not being obnoxious
-Exhaust tips have been professionally pushed out a 1/2" for a more aggressive profile.

If the seller listed this a year ago here or on C&B or BAT, the comments would all say: "OMG, amazing car, great deal, etc"
Now on all platforms sellers are getting a lot of negativity. It's really bad on C&B.

A bunch of folks took advantage of the insane pricing, but it's not happening any longer.
Case in point, this car was sold in 2018 for $23K, and 5 years later, the seller is asking $29K.

Yes, I bought it (and get your facts straight at least) for $24K + shipping, and will take $24K OBO - and yes, it's a fantastic car, one of the nicest in the country. Just try buying any car, this nice and powerful for that price - Good luck!

I never thought I would sell this and intended to keep it forever, but I just bought a new C8 Corvette, and also own an Audi R8 V10 Spyder as well as an AC Shelby Cobra, and my wife says something has to go.
It has been meticulously maintained with OEM parts and regular Liqui Moly oil changes.
I am willing to sell at $24K OBO and the lucky new owner can be assured of many more years of trouble-free enjoyment at a fraction of the price of anything out there that is comparable in terms of style and performance.

I Just bought an Audi R8 and have to thin the heard so it’s time for this beast go to an owner who will enjoy it and take care of it that way she deserves.
She has been no problems and super reliable (unlike later model MB’s I’ve had.)
The exterior is nearly flawless (except some curb rash on 1 wheel from a car show), easily a 9.5/10 and the interior is also flawless (9/10) with the exception that the stereo controls on the steering wheel no longer work with new touch screen stereo (includes new speakers in the rear) and a new Alcantara flat bottom AMG steering wheel.
Also now has a satin black wrapped roof that looks awesome as well as custom matching Alcantara center console lid and shift boot.
It would be hard to find a car with this level of power, luxury and reliability at this price.
