wanted to share the average MPG my c250 is getting on the road trip I’m on.
this was a mix of sport and eco mode driving. My RaceChip tune was on “race” setting then bumped it down to “sport” halfway through. Light a/c usage. Pic below is 6 hours into my 8hr car ride. I have another 9hr ride coming up tomorrow. Then do it all again next weekend.
to achieve this Ive done the below:
- fresh oil change Wednesday night (molygen 5w-40)
-new valve cover and pcv system
- new intercooler, charge pipe, throttle body adapter
- modal works intake system
- RaceChip tune
- Techron fuel system treatment on full fill up.
I am pleased with the efficiency of the m271evo and only had to fill up one time, on this 600+ mile trip.
curious to know what everyone else is getting and what mods they have done.
2010 M272 with a little over 150,000 miles. No mods, just maintain the car accordingly. I did a Techron treatment within the past month just for fun. Tank was on E and put 10oz Techron with 10 gallons of gas then did that one more time. I check the mpg once in awhile and its usually 23-27mpg.
