Anyone seen this sage green colour leather in person?
i want a lighter color, after having a black/bengal interior last time.
also i see an illuminated star is an option. Is that new for the gwagon? Never seen it in the wild before.
does this stop driving assistance like other models?
Many thanks for posting the G550 order guide, @Eaton ! It is super interesting to look through even if prices for several options are not yet available, such as the Full Leather Package.
Noticed a rather unfortunate typo on page 11 with the Trims, specifically trim VA8. This is shown as “MANUFAKTUR Natural Grain Gey Oak Wood trim.” Hopefully the color name is corrected in a subsequent version of the guide.
Can’t wait for the G63 order guide to be published and for the order banks to open up! It shouldn’t be much longer now.

From what I know, Sage Green is not real leather, for those that do not want animal skins.
Ok, so in the photos in the guide no brush bar like the Euro models we have seen but yet the night and magno night packages mention a black brush guard? Thoughts on whether they are dropping it or not? Waiting on the AMG but curious as I haven’t seen a refreshed model with the brush guard yet…

Although not shown in the pictures, the brush guard seems to be standard on the US specs based on the night and magno packages descriptions.
I wonder if the refresh will fix the driver-side mirror vibration (I still haven’t seen anyone on here report it being successfully resolved by a dealer).
Ooh love that red pepper interior. Awesome that the bright red interior has two-tone dash option again.
Extrapolating this data to the G63 I think my next build will be arabian grey/red pepper but I'm tempted to finally go with a magno.
i love the red pepper interior with the little black line on the seats and the two tone dash too. I currently have a black magno with black leather interior with white stitching and everything carbon fiber. I think my next build will either be Arabian grey/red pepper too or perhaps I stay black magno but change to red pepper interior, or south seas blue metallic/red pepper. My fav color for the G is black magno but I feel like if I get a 2025 with black magno and change the interior it would still look and feel like the exact same car I’ve had since 2021 from the exterior. Because of this I’m leaning toward Arabian/red pepper same as you.
if you do Arabian would you go with the night package with the black bumpers, wheel arches, and roof? I saw one like this in person yesterday and I prefer the bumpers, wheel arches, and roof to be in Arabian also. However, I would like to have the grill, emblems, and running boards in black. I hope they offer a night package for Arabian where you don’t have to have the bumpers, wheel arches, and roof in gloss black.

I have seen this come up on the forum a couple of times but have never had this issue myself. I’m guessing it’s not a common problem…

My last two cars have had the night package plus with body colored roof which I did not spec and previously did not like, but I'll admit it has grown on me.
For Arabian I would go regular night package without black arches and roof. The only thing that remains to be seen is whether Mercedes will let us do the black running boards and tail pipes without needing to get the night package plus. Emblems currently need plus to be black but those are easier to change after delivery.
Torn on the wheel selection--I loved my monoblocks but I do like the new 22" rims they released, and of course definitely getting the performance package so then there's the gold 22's that may look okay with arabian.
If I go magno I like green hell and the orange one but I'm worried about trade-in values. either one probably have to go plain black interior with contrast stitching.
I would recommend going with another color for a change of pace and you can always go back to magno black later.

In the German configurator, you can choose Performance Package and then change the wheel style. Yet to be seen if this option will be flexibility will be offered in the our G63 order guide.

Yes that's right thus the dilemma on what wheels to get.
This is a tempting spec -- Arabian with offroad package but without the roof rack. I would add night package though. I'm fairly certain in the NA market, to get the upgraded rear wheel carrier almostly certainly will get the roof rack too.

Looks like Green Hell Magno and Orange Magno and Blue Magno and Red Magno and White Magno will only be available as limited special editions in the US and cannot be simply ordered.
I noticed that as well...we were thinking of going with Black/Yacht Blue with China Blue on a G580...waiting on that order guide. But the new tan with black would be nice as well.
oh where did you see that? I couldnt find it online
It took a while to find it again - here is an excerpt from an article I just read:
"The combination of ARTICO man-made leather and MICROCUT microfibre can now also be ordered in bahia brown. The latest colour for ARTICO man-made leather is sage grey / black. Red pepper/black is now available for the leather seat covers for the first time."

Respectfully, the press release linked is for the GLB.
In Autogefühl’s recent drive preview of the 2025 G, chief reviewer Thomas mentioned around the 9:00 mark that a leather-free interior is planned for the future but is not yet available. It is unclear whether this will be Artico or another material/fabric for the G.
I knew that but I would think they were referring to the same material - why would they have 2 different materials for 1 color? But this is just my educated guess.
