Exterior Door/Window trim pieces
Dear all,
The exterior trim that sits between the door and window on my 2014 SL400 has become discolored and the paint is coming off in one area. Pic is below for clarity.
Does anyone know the part numbers for replacement parts as I would like to swap them out for new ones? Also, anybody know how to take the trim pieces off easily? I don't really want to to start just pulling at stuff in case I damage anything!
Thanks in advance for any wisdom....

As always, double check to confirm correct PN before you order but, I believe you're looking for "Belt Molding" - MB Part# 231-720-01-24
https://www.mboemparts.com/oem-parts...ing-2317200124
R&R of the sealing rail isn't too bad, see attached WIS PDF....
Good Luck!

I may not even need to buy the part, now I know how to remove and replace it, I should be able to just get it repainted. I presume if I bought a new one, I would have to have it painted anyway....
Thanks again.

I believe that rail is black anodized. Either way, the part from MB will match your existing rails, no extra finishing required.
$102 isn’t too bad all things considered. I just replaced one on a hard top recently.
