Tire pressure
So driving along today, minding my own business , and my tire pressure warning light came on for the front. I checked the pressure and 37 both sides. Looked at the specs and it says 35 PSI. Are these that sensitive to pop an alarm for 2-3 PSI over? The rear tires say 40 PSI each on my gauge but they aren't showing a warning.

I see. Yup the fuel door values are the values to check but has to be checked when cold. To answer your question, it is usually 3-5 PSI difference from last set when the warning appears for me (W205 C 43) but I wonder if for the E-Class is different. If you think the values are correct and the tire pressure warning is a false alarm, you can press okay to accept the new values instead.

Look in your operators manual for what it says for your specific vehicle.
My W204 will alert when it detects a "significant" loss of tire pressure in one or more than one tire.
Right now its set to 30psi front and 35psi rear, which is what it shows on the drivers side door label. But I can set it to whatever i want, just pull up the tire pressure screen on the dash and hit "OK", then I can switch pressures.
From memory my warning light usually comes on when the pressures get really low, like 10psi. Also the light will come on if one of the sensors battery is dead or dying, then the pressure will be blank for that side.
Just driving around the tires heat and pressure goes up. I sometimes drive around with the pressure screen showing. Just yesterday I left my house and took a long drive, at the end each tire went up by 5 psi. No warning light showed.
* I mean the warning will show when the psi drops by 10psi from what it is set at. I had leaky tires and was always filling them. It is set to 30psi front, the warning would finally come on when they dropped to 20psi. When I got new tires installed the shop set the pressure to 45psi all around, as soon as i started driving the red warning popped up. I pulled over and lowered the pressures to what they should be at and the warning went away.

Go with the PSI numbers indicated on the gas flap. The numbers on the driver's side door panel specify the MAXIMUM PSI for the tires (running your car at or above these PSI numbers for a prolonged period creates the risk of loss of control of your vehicle and tire explosions).

The drivers door label and filler flap say the same thing. Yours may be different.
