GLE 350 4MATIC
Window shenanigans

Hello all! Last month I picked up a 2018 350 GLE 4matic with 65k miles. A few days ago some window weirdness started. I had been driving around for about an hour, and when my daughter went to lower her front passenger window it would not go down, from either the passenger side switch or from the driver side master switch. This then "spread" to all of the windows. In the days since, I've determined that shutting the car off "resets" something, because after starting all windows function fully until about 3-4 up/down cycles...then one won't come down...and then all of them, so long as they have been raised/lowered around 3-4x. Any ideas what it might be?

Have you tried the window reset feature? There are many videos on YouTube to show you how to do it. I would try that first.

You need to resync the windows. Get in car and close doors. Switch ignition on (no need to start). Using switches on driver's door, drop both windows (or one window that your resyncing) fully and simultaneously. Raise both (or one) windows simultaneously and hold for a few seconds (may hear a slight click).
