All four plugs (two per charger) claim to be 350 kW but looking at the cabinets I'm guessing that's shared. Still, it's a very convenient location for me. I'll probably use it occasionally despite the ridiculously expensive price.
The locations are great and the chargers quite fast, despite a bit of a long handshake. The prices though - they're out of their freaking minds. Worthwhile for a few extra kWh to get home from a trip if needed but not for a full 80% fill-up.

Yeah but hopefully with an attendant on duty 24/7 they'll be a little more reliable. Last thing I need at 2 AM is finding out the cheap charger I navigated to had its cable stolen or card reader vandalized.

I know that stretch of road well as I worked at Vencor back in the day. When I started consulting there they were planning on building their own skyscraper downtown. When I finished consulting there they were going into bankruptcy for overcharging the government. Doh! So I got a new gig in Cincinnati, or was it Nashville? Might have been Chicago after that... or Philadelphia, or Denver, or Wichita, or Omaha, or Chattanooga. I honestly can't remember anymore, there were just too many. Anywho, Vencor was definitely one of the more memorable (longer) gigs. The consulting firm I was working through got me another brief gig at Akzo Nobel before I split town as I recall. I guess they were caught by surprise too.

Wow, you've "been everywhere, man", it seems. Awesome!

Funny thing is I can't remember the name of the guy who signed my timesheet at Akzo but I remember he drove a Bronco 2 with a 300 cubic inch inline 6. That was a great motor! LOL
Anywho, for me this has been exciting because it's the first time since I bought my EQE SUV over a year ago that I've actually been able to charge at the max rate of 170 kW. Tried EA a few times but they were either derated to less than 50 kW or there were broken chargers and a line for the remaining working ones. And the EVGo near me is 50 kW too. But hey, better late than never I guess.
Nice! I've seen over 170kW peak charge rates at the MB HPC networks, and at EVGo. Maybe a couple of times at the EA 350s, but those are so often derated. We have 150s very close to home, but because they can't deliver 500A, I rarely see anywhere close to that. Maybe in the 145s or so. I will say if you can get a DCFC that puts in 500A, the charge curve on the EQs is fantastic. I've seen the car hold 160-170kW all the way up to 45% SOC. Very usable. It won't compete with 800V architectures, but we're talking about 4-5 minute differences to 80%. When we're road tripping with the family, the kiddos have to get out and use the restroom, someone wants something to eat, and almost always the car is ready before we are. The newer, updated ones, at least according to some review sites, do even better, though still talking about 2-3 minutes difference, which is hardly noticeable on most road trips.

I'll probably keep driving my ICE vehicle on road trips, at least until we get a NACS adapter and access to Tesla's Supercharger network. But yeah, I pulled in with 36% and it ramped right up to 168 kW and when I unplugged at 61% it was still doing ~130 kW. If I'm low on juice and need to be somewhere fast I think that'll work just fine. Who knows, I might even be able to stop taking medication for my range anxiety.

Hate to rub salt in a wound but no lines for EV charging at same location. They had to call in the sherif to handle all the butholea cutting in line for liquid fuel tho.

Power is still out for me here in Houston after the hurricane hit. I guess the main electric lines run up and down I69 so can still fast charge my EV though.
There was a Polestar right next to me last time there. I got some good pics of MB's excellent charing curve..
DOUBLE the rate at 80%!
Makes total sense. Sorry about the power situation, hope it comes back soon. I've seen up to 80kW at 80% a few times, the charging peak isn't super high but the overall curve and experience on a high amp charger has been great.

Internet via cell phone has been spotty too. I was really glad I didn't need an app to charge. Just plug in and tap to pay. That was it! Barely had enough time to wash down a Flying J ham sandwich with a Flying J cup of coffee before it was time to unplug.

Consultant is latin for "prostitute", you do anything anywhere for money no matter how distasteful. I've done it for 29 years now, the flip side is you get paid to be a tourist.

I walked out on a few where some manager just needed to pad staff before submitting next year's budget, like Nations Bank in Wichita. It was literally all I could do just to stay awake. Oh, and the falls are here in Texas. They don't even have a fookin' little hill in Wichita. LOL

One last pic and then I guess I'm done with this thread. Here's the charger in my Mercedes navigation system. So if you're heading this way you can preheat too.. though with the temps outside right now that probably wont be necessary.
