Battery Management System recall

I just received a recall notice for my EQE: NHTSA recall id 24V372, MB ID: 2024060002

Seems the BMS system will receive too many diagnostic requests and crash, which may cause issues driving the car. I have put a lot of miles on my car without problems but put it into the dealership for the update.

Yup. I asked about this for my sedan when it was in for the fuse box recall, but nothing came up for my particular car. Last year I did have two instances of power cut and error message that cleared on restart. However, after the dealer unplugging all modules and reconnecting, it's been totally fine. That recall may be applicable to a small subset of cars. We'll see if it shows up for a larger set of cars, I suppose.

Just had the BMS recall performed on my AMG EQEX4. Took about 1 hour start to finish. My understanding is that all production from 2022 to 2024 (May, 2024) is affected. My vehicle was in Wave 2.

Did dealership reach out to you for the BMS recall ? I check my vin via the website but not showing recall needed.
But constantly HUD non-operable / System glitching left and right ....

No, it was a letter from Mercedes Benz, not the dealership. If you checked with your VIN and nothing showed up, then it does not apply to your car.
