production numbers for glc 63 SUV?
Curious what the production numbers were in 2020 and 2021. Anyone got the data? Since the v8 ended in 2021 which gave it 2 years of the facelift production. Could there be a slight chance it'd be a "rarer" car or hold up value better than the typical amg depreciation curve?

This is generally not publicly available information, but an educated guess is roughly 3,000 North American sold GLC 63 and GLC 63 Coupe S vehicles for model years 2018 to 2021.
As far as holding value, it's impossible to know, but I don't personally subscribe to the idea that the retirement of the M177 engine will significantly impact resale value. Purists on this site may disagree but the reality is probably closer to the thought process that the majority of AMG 63 class owners will opt for a newer, faster, better tech equipped vehicle in the 4 cylinder hybrid. Factor in that the GLC 63 is already a niche vehicle - if any slowing of the depreciation curve were to be realized, it would have already come and gone as the vehicle hasn't been produced and delivered for nearly 4 years now.
My thoughts at least.
