2020 or 2025 G63? Need advice
Need some advice from fellow g63 owners...
I have a deposit on a 2025 G63, just waiting on my allocation which I believe I am next in line for at my dealer. Based on a probably MSRP of around $190k, I am looking at a $230k purchase price after $15k dealer markup.
I'm wondering if it wouldn't make more sense to look for a deal on a low mileage 2020 or 2021 model. Based on what I'm seeing, a well specced 2020 with <25k miles can be had for $160k or less - saving me around $70k. Even if I drove the wheels off of it, seems like it would still be worth $130k-$140k a couple years later. Obviously I would need to find one I could add an extended warranty to, but what am I missing? Is this a dumb decision?
It would be great to have a new one built exactly how I want it with the touchscreen MBUX, keyless entry, and reduced wind noise would be great. But $70k great?

I've found that if you keep the new G63 for about a year, it's worth at least what you paid for it (less markup).
