Matt @ Pelican Parts suggested I contact members of this site for assistance. The above PS Pump is for a 1991 MB350SDL. The mounting bracket on this pump cracked & then broke in 2 parts. C&M Hydraulics offered remanufactured pumps for this vehicle, but no longer has inventory. After contacting Autohausaz & Pelican Parts, both referrals from C&M, there appears to be no inventory available anywhere.
Perhaps one of you folks might assist in advising of a used complete pump OR knowledge if the mounting bracket (aluminum?) can be successfully welded to hold up under the vibration & pull of the serpentine belt. I'm in Texas, fyi.
Sadly, I have been informed by techs @ both sites above that MB seems no longer interested in supporting their older vehicles.
So, I am here asking for your help. Suggestions are welcome as right now I have a $52,000 boat anchor in my driveway. Thanks for listening ya'll.

UPDATE: Thanks to eBay, I found a vendor with inventory of above PS Pump. Re-manned pump at a big discount + core charge. Sadly, after contacting MB-USA & the above 2 firms, they more or less informed me…Sorry Ed, but you’re SOL & we have no recommendations. As a Senior, I was taught to keep old things working, even a 33 year old MB. It frankly brought home to me that America’s ‘planned obsolescence’ obsession is true.
Thanx to you who read my thread & tried to help! My loyalty to MB has been broken. I truly appreciate you folks! Regards, Diesel-Ed.
