2013 SL 63 AMG Brakes
We have a 2013 SL 63 AMG. The right rear brake caliper lost the AMG cover. The dealer claims we need to replace the whole caliper (~$1,200.00) merely to replace the small AMG cover on the caliper; which seems a bit excessive even for an AMG. Does anyone have a suggestion or part number just for the cover? Thank you.

You probably want to post in the R231 forum but,
Unfortunately the covers are not available separately....
Sometimes you can find a used caliper (on ebay) in good shape and just use the cover. There are a couple of covers on there, but be aware there are different sizes of pin spacing. So check which ones you need first.
What color is your caliper?
Here's some more info:

AMG SL 63 Brakes
Thank you for the redirect to R231 Forum. I will try there too. Unfortunate to hear about the brakes but not unexpected. Great information on the pin spacing and the calipers are red. Again, thank you for the information and such a fast response.
