Rear Diff Fluid

Changed the oil in the rear diff today, took about 30 minutes, the hardest part is getting the exhaust hangers free up so that the exhaust can drop a couple inches to allow better access to the drain plug. They are a 14mm Allen wrench, fyi. That is all you really need. Make sure that the fill plug on the drivers side, can be loosened before you drain. Otherwise you have an empty diff and an inability to fill it.

After 120k, the fluid was still clean, but I figured it was time. Used Mobil 1 synthetic 75/90.

Easy job to do if you have not done it yet.

Side note, the allen key is a 14mm. If you have a shorter allen driver and a 14mm box wrench, you could probably sneak the wrench in there and not need to drop the exhaust. I would probably find one that is < 1" long if I were to do this again.
