2019-20 E450 Reliability
Looking into used E450 from 2019 and 2020. Any major issues with these cars I should look out for? Any reliability issues with the engine? Thanks!

Data set of one. My 2020 E450 sedan has been completely trouble-free. I just passed my five-year anniversary, and I haven't had to take it to the dealer for a single negative issue. I keep the car in good condition and passengers think the car is brand new!

I don't think that is the M256 since the M256 is an I6 and not V6. I know the 2024/25 E450 is the I6 M256 and has 375hp. I thought that the the W213 came with that engine at some point but I'm not sure which year and is the reason why I asked.

2020 E 350 replaced E 300, M264 replaced M274.

In the Dealer Ordering Guide (DOG) for MY2019, it indicated the V6 362hp (M256) was a new engine for the 2019 E450.

If you have the V6, this is a strong and reliable tested engine with long history. Take care of it and it will take care of you. I had mine on my C-Class for 8 years without any engine issues and it always pulled hard. It was also Lorinser tuned with Eurocharge pops and bangs and yet, the engine kept on going. Sold this car now and the new owner loves the car so much.. I do miss this car as I am finding it hard to MOD my current E53.
